Obituary for Susana Binaku

Susana “Sue” Binaku passed away peacefully at her home in Manasquan on Christmas Day with her loyal grand-dog Reese by her side.
Sue was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on August 25, 1964. She was first generation American with her mom being born and raised in Germany and her father Albania. She grew up in Ashland, MA until her family moved to Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey in early 1980. She attended Manasquan High School.
Sue was a dedicated employee at the Visiting Nurse Association, where she worked as a Medical Billing Coordinator. However, there was no role that Sue loved more than being a mother to her two children, and an Omi (grandmother) to her granddaughter. She was a dear friend to so many and was still close with many of her friends from the Manasquan class of 82’.
Sue loved to grab a coffee and watch the sunrise at the Manasquan Inlet, visit her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter in Rhode Island, dinners with her son every Wednesday, spoiling her three grand-dogs, traditions, the Christmas season, and all the little things in life.
She will be dearly missed by all her loved ones, but they are comforted that she will now be reunited with her beloved mother.
Sue is predeceased by her mother Heidi Binaku nee Posko, father Fatos Binaku; uncle Alfred Weber; and cousins Diane Seipp and Steven Weber.
Sue is survived by her son John Mangini III; daughter Julia Barry, son-in-law Louis Barry, and four-month-old granddaughter Elliana Barry; brother Faton Binaku and sister-in-law Anne Schoonover; sister Adriana Binaku; sister Dardana Binaku, and nephew True Schermer Binaku; aunts Christa Carroll, Ruth Weber, Shipque Selmen, and Fellanze Cana; cousins Donna Seipp, Michael Seipp, and Brujare Cana; and best friend Beth Hearn.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday December 30, 2022, from 4-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Saturday December 31, 2022, at St Catharine Church, Spring Lake, NJ. In lieu of flowers, and to honor her love for family, children, and memories please donate to Make-A-Wish Foundation. To send condolences to the family please visit www.orenderfamilyhome.net.
