Obituary for Peter Ralph Montano

Peter Montano, 89, from Manchester Township, NJ, died in his home on the morning of Wednesday, October 12, 2022. His family is comforted knowing his wife Connie Montano, who passed less than six months ago, was there to greet him on the other side.

Pete was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York on June 30, 1933, to Philip and Mary Montano. He was Private in the United States Army and later worked in the printing industry for decades until his retirement. He was married to Connie on July 19, 1959, and had two children, Lorraine, and Peter. He was a hard worker who was devoted to providing for his family. He moved from Brooklyn to New Jersey in 2006 to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Pete loved gardening and working on his home. He enjoyed walking through his community and playing billiards at the club house. In the summer, he loved to sit by the water and catch crabs for Connie to make into a sauce. Seeing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought joy to his life

Pete leaves behind his daughter Lorraine Stagliano and son Peter Montano, his son and daughter in law, Sal Stagliano and Jodi Montano, seven grandchildren, Christina (Michael), Salvatore (Ashley), Frank (Erin), Vincent, Brandon, Matthew, Ryan, and six great-grandchildren; Isabelle, Salvatore, James, Natalie, Joseph, and Ronan.
