Patricia “Trish” Monaghan, 57, of Sea Girt, passed peacefully on Sunday, April 2,2023 at home. Trish was born and raised in Spring Lake Heights, and was a 1984 graduate of Manasquan High School. After high school Trish began her career as a waitress for various restaurants throughout the Jersey shore area. She worked for Harrigan’s, Bareli's by the Sea, Blend, and the Poached Pear to name a few. Trish treasured all the friendships she made from being a waitress. She loved spending time at the beach, exercising, biking, and spending time at the Manasquan Inlet. What was most important to Trish were her friends, they meant the world to her.

Trish was predeceased by her grandmother Mabel McCool, her parents Eugene and Patricia Monaghan, and her sister Karen Monaghan Hudson. She is survived by her loving brother Michael Monaghan of Brick, NJ. She was the cherished aunt to Michael Hudson and his wife Chary, and David Hudson and his wife Wendy and their children Dylan and Ireland.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 11 am to 2 pm with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 1 pm. Interment will be 11 am Monday, April 17, 2023, at St Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Manasquan Elks Lodge #2534.
