Marion K. Delaney, 93, of Tinton Falls (Seabrook Village), passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. Marion was born and raised in Prospect Park, NJ. She was a graduate of Hawthorne High School. After high school she became an executive secretary for Prospect Park National Bank. It was while working there that she met her husband. They married and raised their family in Ridgewood, NJ. It was later when they moved from Franklin Lakes to Middletown to be closer to the shore. She lived there until her husband’s passing in 1990. Marion had a deep faith and loved life. It was because of her warm and kind personality that she was drawn to meeting new people and involved in her community. She especially enjoyed decorating, knitting, and gardening and never shied away from trying new things. Her favorite times were those just being surrounded by her family.



Marion was predeceased by her beloved husband John J. “Jack” Delaney in 1990, her brother Cornelius “Zeke” Klepper, and her son-in-law Richard Rehmann. She is survived by her loving children John Delaney and his wife Cathy of St Augustine, FL, Mary Anne Mulligan and her husband Roger of Brielle, NJ, Jacqueline Rehmann of Alexandria, VA, and Mark Delaney of Pocono Lake, PA. Marion was the cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.


Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, April 30, 2023, from 3-5pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ 08736. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am at Church of the Sacred Heart, 751 Main Avenue Bay Head, NJ 08742. Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery 908 Huron Road Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417.
