Kerry Anne Wombough (nee Chapin), 66, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the age of 66. Kerry was born in Staten Island, NY. When she was a child, her family moved to the Jersey Shore. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in Tom’s River, NJ. Early on, Kerry developed a passion for horses and equestrian activities at Clove Lake Stables in Staten Island, NY. She later went on to train horses and competed in occasional horse shows. She worked with animals: horses, dogs, cats... for most of her life.

Kerry was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and James D. Chapin, and her former husband Robert Wombough Jr. She is survived by her brothers James E. and Chris, and sisters Dottie and Merri.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at First Baptist Church in Manasquan, NJ on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 2pm-3pm, followed by a service at 3pm. Please enter at the side door entrance and drop-off point. Parking available in the municipal parking lot on Abe Voorhees Drive. (across the street).
