Obituary for Joyce Rizzitello
Joyce Rizzitello, 77, of Wall, Passed away peacefully on Thursday May 11, 2023, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, with her loving family by her side. Joyce was born in Newark, NJ and raised in Belmar, NJ. She was a graduate of Belmar Elementary School and a 1963 graduate of Manasquan High School. After high school Joyce worked for over 25 years for the municipalities of Belmar, and Wall Township as a certified tax collector, retiring in 2003. Joyce was a member of a tennis club that consisted of 50 of the most wonderful ladies you will ever meet. A good portion of these ladies also played bridge and mahjong with Joyce.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents Angelo and Margaret Rizzitello, and her brother Ernest “Rusty” Rizzitello. She is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years Harold Allen of Wall Township. Joyce is also survived by a son M. Todd Price of Pennsylvania, a daughter Tracy Price of Brick, NJ, a sister Kyle Rizzitello and her husband Dan Laing of Belmar, NJ, a brother Ed Rizzitello and his wife Barbara of Brick, NJ. She leaves behind her stepdaughter, Michelle Langel and her husband Joe of Belmar and their children Alex and Kristen, a stepson Scott Allen and his wife Monica of So. Orange, NJ, as well as several grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday May 17, 2023, from 4-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ 08736, with a funeral service that will begin at 7 pm.
