Obituary for Jack J. Eisnaugle

Jack J. Eisnaugle was born in Jackson, Ohio on July 4, 1929, and was born into eternal life at home on January 10, 2023. He was the son of the late Samuel J. and Edna Mae Gensler Eisnaugle.

He received a BS Degree from The Ohio State University and was a member of Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity. He was a faithful Buckeye. He did post graduate work in business management at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and at Harvard University.

Jack served in the US Air Force during the Korean conflict and was discharged with the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Upon release from the Air Force, he returned to Ohio and was employed in the Human Resources Department of Federated Department Stores. He later joined the Bendix Corporation and worked in various plant locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan.

He joined the Schering-Plough Corporation in 1971 in their mid-south division in Tennessee and was transferred to the Corporate Headquarters in New Jersey in 1973. He retired from Schering-Plough in 1995 as Director, Corporate Benefits.

Formerly an active member of Community Congregational Church, Short Hills, Jack and his wife, Linda, moved to Wall Township in 1997. He became a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan, serving as an Elder and Church Treasurer. He also enjoyed singing with the Men’s Fellowship Choir and participated in many Bible studies. He was deeply spiritual. He was a member of the Four Seasons of Wall American Legion Post 529 and participated in several of their Holiday Chorale programs.

Jack was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Norma Eisnaugle Foster. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Linda, his son and wife, Christopher and Karen Eisnaugle and grandson Jon of Las Vegas, Nevada, and his daughter, Heidi Eisnaugle of Little Falls, NJ. He is also survived by his nephew and wife, Rick and Bettie Johnson and niece and husband Beverly and Glenn Lewis. Jack was a kind and sweet man and was a great husband, father, uncle and friend and will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved him.

Arrangements are under the care of Orender Family Home for Funerals, Manasquan. A memorial service in loving tribute to Jack will be held at the Manasquan Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 1 beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Manasquan Presbyterian Church, 16 Virginia Avenue, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
