Beverly Jeanne Karol (nee LaVance), known by all as “Jeanne,” 73, of Wall Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Artis Senior Living in Brick. Jeanne grew up in Spring Lake Heights. She attended Manasquan High School. After her family moved to Arizona during her senior year, she graduated and then attended x-ray school. She returned to New Jersey and spent her career as an x-ray technician at Brielle Orthopedics. Jeanne loved her job and talking to people. She was a member of the Allaire Women’s Club and W.H.I.P. (Wall Helps Its People). After retiring, she volunteered at the former V.N.A. Thrift Shop in Manasquan. Jeanne enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and gardening. She devoted her life to her family and enjoyed the company of her aunt, Lois LaVance. Jeanne attended Wall United Methodist Church.

Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Beverley LaVance. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Karol, daughter, Becky (Karol) Duran, son, Paul Karol, and sisters, Peggy LaVance and Barbara Scherm.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Wall United Methodist Church, 2414 Old Mill Road, Spring Lake Heights, NJ.
