Hannelore D. Pfeiffer, 81 of Lakewood passed away at her daughter’s home on Saturday, November 17, 2018 with her family by her side. Hannelore was born and raised in Bremen, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1957 and moved to Spring Lake Heights in 1966 where she lived until 1993 when her and her husband moved to Lakewood. Hannelore along with her husband Hans worked in the restaurant business for 40 years and was also the owner and operator of the Brielle Inn. She was a very active member of the Lakewood German- American Club and had formed many lasting friendships. Hannelore enjoyed traveling, baking, cooking and entertaining. The most important part of her life was family. She was a devoted wife, mother and the quintessential grandmother, known to all as “OMA”.
Her warm smile and gracious heart blessed the lives of all who knew her.

Hannelore was predeceased by her devoted husband of 51 years Hans Pfeiffer in 2009. She is survived by her loving children Thomas Pfeiffer and his wife Gay of Manasquan and Joanne Pfeiffer McEvilly of Brielle. Hannelore is also survived by her 5 cherished grandchildren Michelle Pfeiffer, Thomas Pfeiffer and his wife Molly, Justin Pfeiffer, Michael McEvilly and Kyle McEvilly.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 3-7 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan. A funeral service will be 10 am on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 Osborn Avenue Manasquan.
