Audrey M. Sikora, 92 of Brick, entered into heaven on Monday, Oct 22, 2018 at the Ocean Medical Hospital. Audrey was born in Neptune on June 22, 1926 to the late Mary and George Howlett. Audrey was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She cherished her family, friends, neighbors and everyone she met. She married Stephen A. Sikora in 1948. She lived in Wall Township and Spring Lake Heights for many years being involved with Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, PTA and all things that supported her children. She worked in Spring Lake Heights Elementary School cafeteria for 30 years where she cooked and served the children lunch. She was a member of Wall United Methodist Church. When she retired she moved to Leisure Village, Lakewood where she made long lasting friends in her Craft Club, Italian American Club, Singles Club, played cards and sun bathed by the pool. In 2013 she suffered a stroke that leads her to the Brick Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation Home. Wheelchair bound, she participated in many of the events held at the facility and made a great many friends and a second family. Her smile and her love will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen A. Sikora (2004) and a granddaughter Diana L. Sikora (2016). Surviving are her children, Mary and Dan LaPolla, Stephen G. and Phyllis Sikora, Donna and Butch Campbell, Doug and Winter Sikora. Grandchildren Stephen C. Sikora, Paul and Jennifer Sikora, Nicole and Frank McKnight and David Sikora; Step Grandchildren Theresa Dalla Valle, Mark LaPolla and Russell Lapolla; her Great-Grandchildren Jadyn Sikora, Corine Sikora and Jessica Sikora and Aubrey Sikora; Step Grandson Landen LaPolla; a sister Marion Mount and brother in-law William Mount. Audrey is also survived by a niece Gail and her husband Pedro delaCruz, and many close friends at the Brick Nursing and Rehab in Brick and Wall United Methodist Church.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 4-7 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A memorial funeral service will be held 10 am on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Wall United Methodist Church, Spring Lake Heights. Interment will follow at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wall United Methodist Church 2414 Old Mill Road Spring Lake Heights, NJ 07762.
